Stride Senior Residences

Tapestry partnered with Columbia Residential to develop Stride Senior Residences, a 90-unit mixed-income affordable senior apartment community in Decatur, DeKalb County, Georgia.  Tapestry and Columbia secured 9% LIHTCs, a HUD 221(d)(4) loan, and DeKalb County HOME funds to finance the $19 million redevelopment.  The property is part of a 26-acre master planned development called Decatur Crossing.  The development prioritized energy conservation and sustainability measures with certification under the EarthCraft Communities and EarthCraft Multifamily programs. Amenities include a shared community park, a fenced community-garden, a movie theater room, fitness center, business center, community room with kitchen, and free WiFi in common areas.  Construction was completed in December 2020.
